What’s in the Box? – Episode 4

And if you thought Episode 4 comes quickly after 3, 5 will be up in 2 or 3 days, once I’ve filmed that, and after that it’ll be at least 1 photo-review, and a few more unboxings. I figured I’d fill up my YouTube channel as much as I can before I’m off to Japan, where approximately 98,36% of all new content will be about food.

Enjoy!

Japan Festival 2012, Part 2

Here’s my video of the karate demonstration at the Japan Festival 2012.

I’m a bit too tired to write anything else about it, apart from that I don’t know who the people giving the demonstration, since I didn’t get that bit on video, and I mean, it’s been a month… I forget stuff.

Anyway, see my previous post for more info about the festival, and enjoy the video!

What’s in the Box? – Episode 3

And here’s What’s in the Box? Episode 3, as promised!

A fairly small box when compared to the last 3 episodes, mostly because I turned down my BUY ALL THE THINGS-knob a fair bit because of my upcoming trip to Japan (3 weeks left!).

Sorry about bits being out of shot half the time, I moved the box around after centering the camera on it, and didn’t think it would be that bad. Next one will be shot with my new 35mm lens, which has helped quite a bit with that problem.

And if click below, you can see where Pannya has taken up residency :)

Unboxing: Touwa Erio Beach Queen by Wave

And here’s the third unboxing I promised – uploaded a bit back by now, but might still be new to some people.

Tomorrow will bring a new What’s in the Box?, and hopefully either another video from the Japanfestival or an unboxing.

Enjoy!

Stuff I Want: Crying Wallet Edition

20120708-top

Well would you look at that, it’s a preview-image! I hope you like it, since it took me about 30 minutes to make, what with me messing up and cutting of the wrong bits of the images all the time.

“Why is this the Crying Wallet Edition?” I hear you ask. Well, just one simple click below will reveal the answer!

Unboxing: Amano Touka Nendoroid by GSC

And here’s today’s unboxing: Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid incarnation of Amano Touka, the Book Girl who’s absolutely not a demon. Or a gremlin. But she is incredibly cute.

Apart from CthulhAmano, though it is one of the more unique Nendoroid-faces you can get.

Also, sorry about the weird glitch after about 10 minutes, my camera decided to stop recording all of a sudden. And it had some trouble focussing, so I’m sorry it’s a quite a bit out of focus in the second half of the video. I’m probably not going to use AF anymore… though with the lack of better lighting I sort of need to. Ah well, something to worry about tomorrow when I’m shooting more videos.

Enjoy this one for now! (Also, note it’s longer than 15 minutes! Yay longer upload limit ^_^b)

Unboxing: Saber Alter by Good Smile Company

I really should stop procrastinating  and actually post things here… I shall blame it on partying last weekend due to it being my birthday on Sunday. All the other times I shall blame on laziness.

Anyhow, I got around to filming 3 more unboxings, and will be posting them up here for the next few days, and in the mean time I’ll film a few more and render out the latest unboxing video (from last weekend), and I’ve also got some more videos from the Japanfestival to render out, one overview and one for the karate-demonstration. I might also film another unboxing tonight, since even more things arrived at my parents’ place during the week, if I don’t get around to that, I’ll do that next weekend.

And I’m still waiting for my LED video lamp I ordered… It’s been 1,5 month now, and the tracking code gives up 2 different statuses, one of which can’t physically be possible, the other indicating it got shipped back to China for some unknown reason. So until that’s sorted, lighting’s going to be fairly wonky, as I’m reliant on sunlight, which isn’t constant with clouds moving around. At least my 50mm lens is pretty light-sensitive, and I’ll get a 35mm soon, which means better close-up shots, and when combined with the video lamp, proper lighting.

For now, enjoy the unboxing:
